FINAL REFLECTION

1. Can you see an improvement on your level of English in the past year/s? Where, for example?

Yes, in general in improving, expanding my vocabulary like a book being written with new plot. It's a shame I could learn more about British culture, I wanted to know more about their Tea times and in general a little bit more history of Britain.

2. Which activity best shows your level of English?

I think I'm mainly good in writing in English but I know I have more potential if I use my oral expresion to talk with people. Expression is esencial in jobs because if the other doesn't understand you there will be a lot of complications at the time something occours or propose a new project. Although I know I love writing in English the special activities I like the most are the your-essays, in those, I can talk about everything and anything I desire.

3. Which activities were really USEFUL to improve your English? Why?
The ones that imply the writer to use the vocabulary learnt throughout all the projects in this year. Mostly the tasks and even the news helped me to improve my English level.

4.Which activities did NOT were really USEFUL to learn English? Why not?
Sincerely, the oral presentations, I get so nervous in those situations that I forgive the vocabulary to say in my presentation, also there's another one, the songs, some songs are not that useful if the person who listens to it doesn't like them or doesn't pay enough attention to the song and talks with other classmates.

5.Which activities would you like to do again next year to keep improving your English?
Deffinetely I would still like doing blog your-essays in my blog and other personal opinion activities because there are very reflective about the daily lives of everyone.

6.Open comments
Maybe, there are some activities that students love to do, but it's more easy to ask them what kind of activities would want to do in each term and the teacher needs to have the capacity to make those activities suitable for them, it may improve the English of students if they do what they like to do, but in English.

I am writing to you in response your web advertisement for a caretaking volunteering job in your Panda Caretaking Center. I would like to apply in this position because I personally think those animals need more attention that it seems to be, specially nowadays where people cut off entire forests in Asia for mass producing paper. I am aware of the cost for maintaining those poor animals in good state, that is why I want to work with you for a modest price.

I am wary that I need a strong mind and strong feelings of responsibility, and of course the will to be hours and hours watching over pandas, cleaning them.... cleaning their mess.... feeding them... but I do have those requirements and I also love taking care of animals, specially those who have furr and a big belly.

TRUMP 'DOES BELIEVE IN CLIMATE CHANGE', SAYS US AMBASSADOR TO UN

He knows "the US has to be responsible for it and that's what we're going to do" said Nikki Haley.

The president provoked widespread condemnation when he announced on Thursday the US would withdraw from the Paris climate change agreement. With this the United States becomes one of only three countries outside its framework. When he made the announcement , Mr Trump said the deal would hurt the US economy. He made no mention of climate change science.

During his election campaign, Mr Trump had said that climate change was a hoax and, since his announcement on Thursday, has avoided questions on the subject.

"Just because the US got out of a club doesn't mean we aren't going to care about the environment" Ms Haley yold CNN, adding that the terms of Paris agreement, reached in 2015, were "too onerous"

In resume, there are countries that are changing their terms in the Paris climate change agreement, This will have consequences in our future, the temperature will not rise 2.1 Cº but 4.7 Cº by 2100.

This is because countries like US, are too worried for their economy to invest in filters for carbon dioxide emissions while other countries are not paying for them and have better economies like China. Surely this is a lot worse than ever it could be, if the principal emission countries don't want to pay for climate change then the world is doomed with a HOT, literally HOT  future

LONDON ATTACK 4TH OF JUNE 2017

Seven people have been killed in a terror attack near London Bridge. Police shot dead the three attackers. Ambulance service says 48 patiens were taken to five hospitals; 21 are in critical condition, four police officers were injured, two seriously. Eight armed officers fired a total of 50 bullets at the three attackers. One member of the public suffered gunshot wounds and is receiving treatment in hospital. Also 12 people have been arrested during police raids in Barking, east London. It's understood one of the attackers lived at the address in Barking; neighbours say he was married with two children. The general election will go ahead on 8 June and all major political parties suspend national campaigning. In this sittuation police have opened a casualty bureau.

If this still goes on in London I believe there will be a change of Defense Protocols in every single public establishment in London, to prevent those attacks, even those buildings where people pass through alot of times during the day.

THE DANGER SECRET FACILITIES SUPPOSE TO HUMANITY

Who knows what expermients are doing in those secret facilities?

Every country in the world has it's own secrets but for me only two make me feel worried about what they're doing for being a secret to the extremes that they cannot tell anyone, even to public media.

One of these countries is United States of America. This is a very rich country and I believe they invest billions of dollars to investigations. Specially now with Donald Trump it's all a mystery with him, who knows what's he thinking about? 

The other country it's Russia, everyone believes that this is a developing country, but I think that's not true at all, it's possible they have underground complex investigating the same way as U.S.A. They're very unnoticeable because not many things happen in Rusia, making this country pretty silent and undercovered for the rest of the world, even tough we all know Rusia is participating indireclty in war in Siria. 

Just imagine what would happen to the rest of the countries if those two giants confront? Just think about it, they secretly are developing new technologies to improve their powers in war circumstances. Just try to imagine a world when suddenly a third world war takes place, those countries definetely will bring with them new technologies to war like rayguns, plasma rifles, etc.... etc..

The other suspicious country would be China, this country has a lot of population, there is a lot of industrial process but maybe this is just to cover what they hide below their feets ...

(Maybe im getting a little bit conspiratorial here ) But again, who knows what do they think right now?

SUMMER JOB

Hello everybody!, this summer I 'm sure I will start for the first time working in a chinese restaurant. It will be tough as far as I know. How did it all start? Well, I was searching for job before the school year end, I was searching for one because I wanted a new computer to take to Barcelona next year (I couldn't take my mum laptop and leave her without a computer I would feel ashamed for her) so one day my old elementary school chinese friend sent me a message on whatsapp of a proposal for a job in her father's restaurant, I accepted it because I wasn't finding any job (there were all full for now).

She told me this work will be tough and it will cost a lot of time of my life to work there, from 12:00 PM to 12:00 AM with only 2 hours of rest (from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM) every day. There would also be days of rest but not the entire day just half of the day, in other meanings I would start working not at 12:00 PM on my rest days but at 6:00 PM.

My monthly salary wouldn't be that great though, I feel a little bit worried about this because it's a lot of time working just for 600-700 euros monthly like if it was an explotation. But I don't mind that much really, I just want to buy a new computer and then next year when I return there I know my monthly salary will not be 700 euros monthly but about 1000 monthly plus the extra tip given daily.

I just wish myself good luck this summer!! :)

FRIDAY THE 13TH

Friday the 13th is an American horror franchise that comprises twelve slasher films ( films that the principal plot is about a psychopat killer that kills his victims). The franchise mainly focuses on the fictional character Jason Voorhees, who drowned as a boy at Camp Crystal Lake due to the negligence of the camp staff. Decades later, the lake is rumored to be "cursed" and is the setting for a series of mass murders. Jason is featured in all of the films, as either the killer of the motivation for the killings. The original film was written by Victor Miller and was produced and directed by Sean S. Cunningham in 1980.

I started seeing this franchise last monday, somehow I knew that there was another classical horror film that I hadn't seen yet. Everything started when the new game inspired in this franchise launched off in 28th of May of 2017. When I saw the game and who was the main character I remembered this face, (classical hockey mask). After remembering this clasical horror character I proceded to watch from the beginning all those films.

At first I thought it wouldn't be that horrorific and indeed it wasn't , the only thing that I like in these movies  is the stealth and how silently kills the killer his foes, with such creativity in every single situation and moment. I do also mock of the dumbness of the victims in how they don't detect the killer on first sight.

For me, for now, I like the plot of the film but sometimes I ask myself why the hell he keeps returning from Death, after he got brutally axed in the head, hanged and even made his brain soup by a machete. It's just surreal, but I believe there is a grudge that keeps him alive forever, eventually one day someone will free him from his grudge and send him to Hell once and for all. 

IS THERE A POSSIBILITY OF A GLOBAL EXTINCTION OF HUMANITY BY A BIO-WEAPON?

Nowadays, the Science has made a lot of new progress in technological terms, biology in special.
We found a lot of secrets  about our lives and in general manipulation of cells, bacteria, virus.... that were buried until now.

The requirements of a Bio Weapon to be effective are:

-Have a high mortality and infectiousness.
- Be less noticeable and less propense to have a cure.
-A pathogen that has the ability to mutate a lot of times in a very shor period of time.
- It must be a fast killer that after killing the infected disappears without leaving evidence behind.

Those requirements in present days can be asequible through biotechnology , manipulation of the DNA of viruses/bacterias or even Prions ( complex proteins that are hard to notice and cause a lot of damage by accumulation in cells). For example, if we chose Ebola for the base of our pathogen, and we then introduce Yersinia Pestis's DNA , Grip A, and the common flu..... we could make a global pathogen that kills fast and spreads through air making more agressive this pathogen than it is.

I wouldn't doubt that one of the posible things that will end our world could be one of those Bio- Weapon created in underground high-security facilities. Accidentally taken out or on purpose.

GAP YEAR

Do a Volunteer Conservation Job in my Gap Year

I really would like to do a volunteer conservation job in a Panda Breeding Centre in China, as long as I can, because those poor animals are endangered species, specially when they have so many threats in their habitats such as spread population of pandas throughout all southern west China forests. I really don't care the price of the trip but as long as I will be with pandas I will be satisfied. I deffinitely would take a plane to go to China and then in my own visit some places like the china famous Temples (Pagodas) and in my free-time there I would have a walk in the outskirts of the city I would be living in.

 I don't know if I want to do a gap year, in other meanings a gap year also means a waste of time for  studies I don't have enough money either (now, maybe in the future I will have more... who knows?) for doing trips to another countries. Therefore I will wait until I get exhausted of studies (which isn't the case now) and try to do my best to do a right career here and go doing volunteer conservation job in another countries when I have vacation and abundant wealth. Also this gap year requires having the will to help those little animals in breeding, you must be pacient and really cheerful. For you those panda would be like a child of yours but in need of someone in their lives to cheer them up. Little panda aren't harmful, they are really frisky and joyful , they love to play around and they above all really love their

owner.

Still, people should do a Gap Year if they really need to do it because it's like a "year of relaxation and to clear your mind" it's a favour for your mind, you become more sociable after you come after a gap year. Most importantly of all, I already decided my future plans here in Spain, I already had planned a programme to follow having a goal in mind :  Enter the college. So this thing about all about the gap year will come to  a halt until future revision.

. 

If I help with love and passion those animals, I'm sure in the future I perhaps get a new friend when I return :)

ALTERNATIVE GAP YEAR IDEA: 

Go on a trip to Japan

Since I was a little child who whatched cartoons and anime, I wished going to Japan on a trip, because Japan is the original country where my cartoons came from. In other meanings, their original producers and directors are in Japan, not in Europe nor America.  Now, I want to visit Tokyo, but I don't want to stay there for the nights, I prefer going to a small town where the population is more reduced than Tokyo, where People Traffic ( A lot of crowd in the streets walking with poor space to walk in) is lessen. 

I would start visiting the anime stores, and comic stores because it's my first goal to achieve with my trip. Then, I would visit other culture monuments that appeal people to come close enough to stare at them, like golden lions, sanctuaries, temples... etc

My period there, as the other Gap Year Idea, would be vague, I'm not pretty sure how much I would like to be there but... deffinetely as long as my money persists of flying off  my wallet.

WHAT IS A BAD FRIENDSHIP?

A bad friendship is not that easily recognized, we often have our minds blinded with the typical image of "helping others" or being a "symphatetic friend" to the ones you love, but, if we pay a little more attention in how our surroundings work we'll see that more of the half actions done are mean to manipulate or harm others for their own benefits, like more attention around them or gain the attention of your best friend isolating you in the conversations.

There are plenty more bad things that happen in a bad friendship that aren't easily recognized by yourself. I have some solutions to them on how to avoid those people whose plans is to ruin your general companionship.

1. Ignoring the friend that ignores you
2. Being self-sufficient to avoid toxic friendship that uses your devotion to help other people.
3. Beware the interloper.
4. Avoid the queen bee, this person has a thought of superiority above someone else, making other people "servants".
5. Avoid the snob.
6. Steer clear of the victim, who exudes "poor me", and "my life is horrible". This people always comes in your advice with no uncertain terms in how much hardship they are getting through. 
7. Be wary of the self-centred.

If you pay observation in those guidelines I assure you willl only have good friends in your circles! But be careful! some of them just need a little of talk to change their way of thinking! =)
